Sand and other concerns at the beach | Kirkland, WA Family Photographer
I’m not sure when it stops being cute… the beachy, sandy bum. Oh, and how old are we when we get concerned about the sand in our suit? When did buckets of muddy sand become a nuisance? AND, when did we stop playing in the water AND sand ALL DAY LONG?

Faces | Kirkland, WA Photographer
I love these faces. Its park time and you would never know based on the look they are giving me. Don’t worry, I wasn’t stalking children at the park… (Although it certainly looks like they are feeling a little that way…) Anyhow, these kids belong to my good friend and I am trying REALLY hard to get the darling little girl to smile at me. When I graduate from frowns to smiles I will be sure to post them (hopefully I will have my camera for the moment). Is it me or the camera? : )
It was a darn cold day and we were just trying to get out of our darn cold (and dark) homes. You can see that we don’t have sunshine and much light to be excited about. I brought out of my camera (since I tote it everywhere while trying to stay on top of my photo a day project) right during “My Little Pony Fruit Snack” time and you can see that I did not win.

Spring Cleaning and Discounts | Kirkland, WA Photographer
Who doesn’t love a discount? : ) I’m cleaning out, archiving, and offering some savings. This is good through May 20th. Any orders between NOW (April 20th) and May 11th will include some savings!

Babies | Queen Creek, AZ Photography
What is better than perfect skin, bright eyes, and baby giggles? Ya know what I love about this age? They can’t run away. : ) I get my fair share of chasing kids (I have two of my own) so this was a nice break. She sat perfectly-mostly in her own world, watching the park goers and leaves blow by. She had some drooling here and there and loved it-some may clean it up, clone it out of there but I thought it said, “I am a baby and I drool.” :) These were taken on a beautiful March day in Queen Creek, AZ at Power Ranch. One of the greatest benefits of being a Queen Creek photographer is scheduling sessions during spring and fall in Arizona is the chance to take a break from the cold and soak up the sunshine and eat at some of my favorite places.
I used my 24-70mm lens because packing all my favorite stuff wasn’t an option. I really wanted to bring them all but I am not keen on checking anything with camera equipment in it. I love that lens! So, here is this darling baby girl-proud to be sitting up and posing for her photos!

Design Stash | Queen Creek Photography
This is post overload but I couldn’t help myself. If you were in the room with this cutie, I would argue that you would do the same thing with your photos. Anyhow, back to my story… Brooke at Design Stash is the one behind these accessories. Ha! No, Brooke is not in the basket and literally behind these-the is the creator and designer. She is super talented and if you go check out her Etsy site, you will see that these are only a few of the many awesome things she creates! Brooke has an amazing mind and her ideas are incredible. You should see the way she can draw horses and stables (ok, a bit of an inside joke here-BUT she can draw!) I’m so excited about her business and wish that I had someone to adorn with her stash!
These pictures are for her site gallery and her little darling was our model. She was PERFECT. She seemed so excited to be the star. She was very giddy at moments and so excited, other times she was completely under control and ready for the next snap. She is already helping her mom with a business at such a young age! So here goes the largest post (with pictures) since the beginning of this site!
That Mouth | Family Photography | Gilbert, AZ
So this isn’t really FAMILY but our goal that day was family pictures. The cutest little boy was sleeping with the cutest little mouth. AND, I am a lover of color, especially green. You put all those wonderful things together and I can’t help myself! Obviously, I like to post pictures that I love, right? This is sneaking to the top of the love list!
