She’s EIGHT | Kirkland, WA Photographer
Kids are the true tale of time! If you watch kids, you will learn that you are growing up (and older) too. ; ( Sad news? I will always feel young at heart and its hard to believe that time isn’t stopping. I was with my daughter the other day, helping her shop for clothes. I looked at myself in the mirror and realized that I am the mom. I am the older one-I love to shop and I remember those school shopping sprees with my mom. I remember what she looked like as she was presenting ideas and combinations to me. She always seemed older-always my mom. There was no possible room in my brain to believe that she once was in my young school age shoes-she was always mom to me. That’s how my daughter will look at me… I am always mom and OLD to her.
Her eighth birthday is a very special one.
Birthday #8 | Queen Creek Photography
This birthday is special for her, she has turned eight and will be getting baptized. I am a fan of the new color idea. (there I go again, displaying my love for color.) She had a darling white dress with white leggings and a bright turquoise cardigan and flower in her hair. So fun, so colorful, but yet room for the traditional white. Also, I like how times are a changing and now pictures for eight year olds are becoming more popular! ![]()
I’m so excited, and I just can’t hide it | Queen Creek Children’s Photography
PERSONALITY!!!! There’s this boy, he is excited! He turned 8 and made the decision to be baptized. Jake is such a sweet boy (young man? not sure what to call an 8 yr old). He came and was totally willing to get into this picture moment. He has a contagious smile and he loves to sing and be on stage. Time has passed since Jake was here but these pictures are still fun and more to demonstrate what I love… real moments, real feelings and real people!
