Most of the time, I try to get true kid stuff-their real smile, real laughter, real goofiness… this is real! This is his favorite thing to do. He actually thought it was so cool that he could bring it to his photo session! Talk about easy to please! Now, if his mom would only hang this! This certainly tells his story and captures a stage in life…

I am working on a watermark. I can’t decide how I want it to look, if its important, what I want and where I want it. In the meantime, enjoy the array of options and changes until I am settled on something (and the same cute family-more outtakes).

Oh goodness… All of these kids were SO full of personality! They were certainly my entertainment for a couple of hours. They danced and were goofy but had so much fun together.

When you put a hat on a boy, gee-what happens? It looks like he is doing a rap or something.

Kids are so fun and so uncertain. I love the way they just stare in hopes that me and the camera will either disappear or hand out candy. : ) I love to see how these little personalities will interact with me. Most of all, I love that styles today incorporate accessories that are as big as the child themselves. Just gotta love a cute headband and a good pair of jeans!
Little Dancer
This photoshoot was fun-she in her tutu, dancing and jumping and stretching and twirling. I had many to review but I ended up liking these-she is so sweet and precious. Having a studio allows personalities and talents to shine. That’s all they’ve got when on white paper with lights and a camera staring at them. She loved dance and she is good!
If you’re happy and you know it…
Early fall 2009, this happened… the music played, the family danced and it was all fun and games and nobody even got hurt. This shot was taken in my little studio. Did I say little? I scrunched them to the middle as to not get funny stuff on the sides (but if I remember correctly, I still had to fix some of that) and let them be them. These kids were a dream-I have never met kids who love to be photographed as much as these kids. Each one of them is dancing and showing their true colors. Families being different, love it!
